Move, play, know your privacy.
Privacy information for JoyMotion on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Who operates JoyMotion
JoyMotion is operated by GF Lab International Limited (GOFA). If you play using a centre or organisation's account, that organisation manages your access and can view the game history associated with its account.
This notice covers the native mobile and Android TV apps. Sign-in and automatic centre reporting apply to app versions that include those features. Earlier offline pilot builds keep their game reports on the device.
Camera and movement tracking
With your camera permission, the app estimates body positions on your device to move game controls and detect hits. Camera frames are processed for gameplay and are not saved as a recording or sent to the centre dashboard. You can withdraw camera permission in your device settings; camera-controlled play then becomes unavailable.
Accounts and game results
In signed-in versions, your email and password are sent over an encrypted connection to Firebase Authentication to sign you in. The app does not save your password. A protected sign-in credential lets you remain signed in until you sign out or your access expires.
The service checks your account ID, centre membership, plan and game allowance. It records:
- Your account ID, account email and centre or organisation.
- The game played, player count, round ID, start and finish times, active duration and completion status.
- Each player lane's score, successful game actions and misses. Player lanes are numbered; camera tracking does not identify people by face.
- The app version, operating-system version and device model supplied with the round.
These records support membership limits, game history, centre reporting and troubleshooting. Game scores and successful actions are gameplay measurements, not a medical assessment.
Optional feedback
Signed-in players can choose to send a written comment after a game or from Settings. We save the comment with the game name (if applicable), account email, centre or organisation, app platform and version, and submission time so GOFA can review and improve JoyMotion. The feedback form does not upload camera frames or video.
Approved JoyMotion administrators can read comments in the Admin portal. We also send a notification with those details to info@gofa.co using Resend. You can ask GOFA to access or delete feedback associated with your account by contacting the support address below.
Storage and service providers
Pending results are stored in an encrypted queue under the original account and retried when a connection is available. Confirmed uploads are removed from that queue. Signing out does not move pending results into another account. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage can remove results that have not uploaded.
Cloud records are retained as part of the centre's game history; signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete that history. Contact your centre or GOFA about the retention arrangements and deletion of records associated with your account.
GOFA uses Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication and records, Vercel and its connected storage infrastructure to operate the service and dashboard, and Resend to deliver optional feedback notification emails. These providers receive the information needed for their role, including connection information such as an IP address. Processing can take place outside your country or region.
The native app does not use advertising tracking or sell gameplay data. Camera images are not sent to a cloud AI service for pose detection.
App updates
Versions with update checks contact the relevant app store from the menu. For Google Play installations, Google's update service handles device metadata, the installed application version, and installed modules or asset packs to check for an update and its download size. See Google's in-app update data information.
On iPhone and iPad, the public App Store catalogue check sends JoyMotion's app ID and the region from your device's language and region settings to Apple. As with other internet requests, Apple receives connection information such as your IP address. These checks do not send your JoyMotion sign-in credentials, camera images or game results. The store controls update delivery; background automatic updates depend on your device settings.
Local diagnostics and your choices
The app can keep a local diagnostic report about a round and its tracking performance. Using Save report exports a file to a destination you choose; you control who receives that file. Automatic centre reporting uses the game-result fields described above.
You can sign out on a shared device, control camera permission in device settings, and contact GOFA or your centre to request access to, correction of or deletion of your account data. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the organisation that manages the account.
Support, privacy and deletion requests
Email business@gofa.co. For a game problem, include your app version, device model, game and player count. Please do not send your password.
Request deletion of your account or game history
- Email business@gofa.co with the subject “JoyMotion data deletion request”. You do not need the app installed to make a request.
- Include the account email and centre or organisation name. Tell us whether you want the whole JoyMotion account deleted or only particular game records. For specific rounds, include the approximate dates, game and player lane if known.
- If you are a parent, guardian or an authorised centre representative making the request for someone else, tell us your relationship. GOFA will verify the request and coordinate with the organisation that manages the account.
What the request can cover: the account profile and centre association, or game history including round dates, scores, successful actions, misses, active duration, device/app details and the associated dashboard summaries. A request for game-history deletion does not have to include deletion of the sign-in account. Shared centre accounts require care to identify the relevant records without deleting other players' history.
Retention and next steps: cloud game history has no automatic deletion deadline in the app. It remains in the centre's records until a deletion request is processed or the centre's retention arrangements apply. GOFA will confirm the scope and expected processing time after verifying the request, and explain any records that must be retained and for how long. Sending a request does not immediately erase data.
Signing out or uninstalling does not delete cloud history. Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes local pending reports; it does not withdraw reports already uploaded. Camera recordings and body-landmark coordinates are not part of automatic cloud reporting.
